After noticing a few structural concerns with their existing metal railing, this homeowner decided that wood was best replacement option. Not only does wood compliment the natural elements both on and surrounding this property, any required future repairs will be much less invasive when compared to metal.
Hand-shaped limestone pillars dividing each railing made demolition and installation somewhat challenging. We did not want to disrupt the meticulous stonework so we managed to secure our posts without compromising the pillar detail. Radius railings were built for the area surrounding the pool in order to compliment the existing perimeter contours.
