Revisiting a One-of-a-kind Piece and Person

This coming May will mark the 3rd anniversary of our community losing former Premier Dr. David Saul. In addition to Dr. Saul’s extraordinary career as an educator, politician, athlete, and businessman; he was also a keen wood hobbyist. One of the projects we completed for Dr. Saul was a mahogany display case designed to showcase a salvaged bronze propeller gifted to Dr. Saul by his late friend Mr. Teddy Tucker. Details of this project can be found on our website, www.bsr.bm, under our ‘News & Projects’ section. BS&R is a tiny footnote in the friendship of two giants of 20th century Bermuda culture, and we were able to partly celebrate this friendship by building an antique of tomorrow.
